Blake Gallery at the Beebe Library – ACW Exhibit
Month of February 2024
ACW Members Only
The Blake Gallery is on the main floor of the Wakefield Beebe Library near the reference desk. It is a small gallery space that accommodates about 18 pieces with exhibits running for the month. In the past we’ve ranged from a handful of artists who exhibit several pieces each to single pieces for 18 or so artists.....it all depends on how many artists express interest. The space is not designed for large pieces. Please respond to this email to let me know if you’d like to participate; it will be first come/first serve sign up. The artwork drop off will be around 5 pm on Feb 1st at the library; more details to be provided to participants. The exhibit will run the whole month of February.
Call For Artists
The ACW presents “Tell Me a Story” Art Exhibit and Sale coming to the Albion Cultural Exchange
Month of April 2024
Open to ACW members and friends, and local artistsIt’s anyone's guess as to what artists will create for Tell Me a Story. The theme provides a palette open to artist interpretation.....Stories feed our imagination, take us to amazing places and create the lens through which we see the world. Stories fire us up. We love stories of success and heartbreak, of love, laughter and tears. They remind us who we are, where we came from, and help us gain a deeper understanding of each other's experiences. The Tell Me a Story theme is purposely open-ended allowing the artistic freedom to express unique perspectives, emotions, and experiences in a visual medium. More details to come on exact dates, registration information, and artist pop up sale opportunities.. Check out ArtsCollaborativeofWakefield.com for more details as they become available. In the meantime, start working on your interpretations of Tell Me a Story!
