A Call for Artists for the October Art Show at the Cultural Exchange

The Arts Collaborative of Wakefield invites artists to participate in their annual fall Art Exhibit Inspired by... The ACW is a community-based art group that organizes exhibits two to three times annually. Visitors to this ACW event can anticipate an art exhibit featuring various media by over 35 local artists, along with works from WHSArt, art sales, a fundraiser, demonstrations, collaborations, and a special exhibit.

The theme Inspired by...offers a broad platform for artistic expression and is intentionally open-ended. Since the inspiration may not always be apparent, the gallery's labeling will include a section for artists to describe the inspiration behind their work. The ACW often includes a special exhibit within the art show to highlight a particular aspect deserving extra attention. This time, the focus is on the Halloween season - Inspired by Halloween. What images do you associate with Halloween... ghosts and goblins, pumpkins, costumes?
