The Arts Collaborative of Wakefield invites the public to their annual fall Art Exhibit Inspired by... The ACW is a community-based art group that organizes exhibits two to three times annually. Visitors to this ACW event can anticipate an art exhibit featuring various media by 30 local artists, along with art sales, a fundraiser, demonstrations, collaborations, and a special exhibit. This art exhibit and sale is generously sponsored by The Savings Bank.

Inspired by…will be open on Fridays: October 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and on Saturdays: October 3, 10, 17 and 24 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Albion Cultural Exchange. The theme Inspired by...offers a broad platform for artistic expression and is intentionally open-ended. Since the inspiration may not always be apparent, the gallery's labeling includes a section for artists to describe the inspiration behind their work.

The ACW frequently arranges a special exhibit within the art show to emphasize a particular aspect that merits additional focus. This time, our theme is the Halloween season. What images come to mind when you think of Halloween... ghosts and goblins, pumpkins, costumes? Be sure to visit our collection of Halloween artwork in the special exhibit ‘Inspired by Halloween’.
