“RESOLUTION,” a group show featuring photographic-based art

Free public reception this Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. 37 Turner St., Salem.

“RESOLUTION” features a playful side of photography and Photoshop; the majority of the pieces were created in the last year. Works will include encaustic, collage, mixed media and photography.The gallery walls will show photography by James Bird, Jeff Dykes, Peter Grimshaw, Bill Kelley, My-Linh Kotre, Christine Michelini and Vicki Ryer; Photoshop work by Chris Cuddy; collage by Constance Festo Lafond and Lisa Galperin; assemblage by Ken Riaf; painting by Glenn French; and mixed media by Elise Mankes, Patrick O’Donnell, Jack Walsh and Ray Wengenroth. New to the gallery with this show will be Chris Cuddy, Peter Grimshaw, My-Linh Kotre and Jack Walsh.Show displayed through Feb. 29. Regular business hours are noon to 6 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday through Monday or by appointment. Visitation is free and open to the public.
