‘Square Works’ art show for October 2021

The ACW is pleased to announce the ‘Square Works’ art show for October 2021. The concept is that the final work presentation must be 12” x 12” or 16” x 16” and entries submitted in multiples of two (2, 4, or 6 entries). Beyond the final work being in a square format, there is no other theme to be followed.

- Show theme: Square Works

- Size: 12” x 12” or 16” x 16” (Final size of canvas, matted, framed, etc, entry)

- Smaller works can be mounted or framed into 12” x 12” or 16” x 16”

- # of items to submit: 2, 4, or 6 items to be submitted (no single entries)

- Must be hangable or free standing

- Medium: Open to any visual arts medium

- Registration fee: not applicable

- Work may be priced and for sale, or not for sale (NFS)

- Not Juried

- Open to ACW members and local artists

The show will run for the month of October. Details of when the show will be open and how participants will be involved are TBD; it will likely be timeframes on weekends and a few weeknights.

The start of the show is 6 months away and much can happen Covid wise between now and then. Participant’s interest and concerns, and local and state wide guidelines will shape just how and when this all comes together in October.

This notice is to let you know about the show, to gauge interest, and to give plenty of time to work on entries. More details will be provided in the future.
