Oil Painting

I find inspiration in nature, architecture, whimsical imaginings, and quiet moments beneath vast skies. Much of my work centers on a single figure—whether a person, tree, or building—depicting what I think of as "the peaceful place," a moment of quiet reflection connected to a larger environment through strong compositional lines and geometric shapes. My photography gravitates toward powerful landscapes, filtered light, architectural lines, and abstract patterns in flowers and plants. I explore these themes in my landscape paintings through a contemporary impressionist lens, hoping to capture some of the peace and wonder I experience in nature. My non-representational pieces draw from cubism and pop surrealism to imagine worlds filled with adventure, wonder, and mystery. Images are rendered in bold colors and dynamic shapes. Ultimately, I aim to create art that is bright and alive, something that brings color, light, and joy to a room.
