As a child, I had a passion for drawing and dreamed of one day becoming a professional portrait artist. In 9th grade I earned a full scholarship for one year at the MFA which, unfortunately, I was not able to attend. Then life happened: marriage, kids, jobs, and middle age. The kids moved out, life slowed down, and my friend invited me to paint night, and the fire burned again.
For me, painting is my way of both expressing myself and relaxing in such a way that the outcome is actually tangible!
I am yet an infant in this new journey. It humbles me that others are enjoying my work too...that they are willing to invest in the impressions of all the things I love: the beach, flowers, and landscapes.
